He was born to play cricket and has conquered everything the sport has to offer, yet there seems to be that never dying hunger in him to keep pushing himself to greater heights. Yes the man I am talking here is about the one and only master blaster Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar who has ridden the mantle of the greatest player to have ever played the sport for over two decades now and just doesnt seem to be getting tired of all his achievements. The recently concluded ICC awards have proven that absolutely right.
Not only did he win the Peoples choice award were the people all over the world are given a set of nominees to vote for, who they think is the right person to win that award for his achievements that year but also was named the best cricketer of the year by a panel which consisted of some of the greats of the game such as Clive Lloyd. Apart from these accolades he was also shortlisted for both the ICC One Day and Test teams of the year. It was a very rare honour to get so many awards at the ICC awards night and was justly given to the man who has been through it all, seen it all, done it all and is still hungry for doing it all over again. All hail the little big champ of Cricket!!!
